The Kiwanis Club of Perry Township sponsors the Southport Key Club at at Southport High School, which has 25 members and has done numerous projects for the community.
Bring Up Grades (BUG) is a program designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades into an acceptable range, and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next.
The first step is reading to them.
The second is to give them books they can treasure and read again and again.
Members collect food, sort food, and guide families through the food pantry.
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for the residents at the Ronald McDonald House of Indianapolis.
Rebuilding Together Indianapolis provides assistance to people who own their own home but who, because of physical limitation or low income, are struggling to cover the costs of home repair. Typically, these individuals have a disability and/or are elderly, but low-income families and non-profit facilities such as schools, shelters and daycare centers are also included.
We join thousands of Hoosiers in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide housing and fight homelessness in Indiana!
